Rookie Lifeguard Award
If your children are budding lifeguards, then the Rookie Lifeguard Award developed by the Royal Lifesaving Society UK in conjunction with the ASA and the LTS, should be just what you are looking for.
Rookie lifeguard is a fun filled and action packed program teaching lifesaving skills to children who are moving on from learn to swim. We are sure you will have a great time on this popular course which is detailed below:
This course will include survival, self rescue and life saving support skills, with life support and water safety knowledge. The course is held on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm – 7.30pm over ten weeks and costs only £60! Children will also be awarded at the end of the course with a badge and certificate.
Why not join our rookie lifeguard intensive course this summer holiday! Aqua Splash will be running a rookie lifeguard course from Monday-Friday 8.00am – 10.00am over the summer holidays. Children can then stay and play all day for no extra cost!
As well as offering parents the comfort of knowing their children are aware of the dangers of swimming in open water, the Bronze, Silver and Gold stage awards ensure children have a solid safety education, and have learned rescue and resuscitation techniques.
